Some recognitions give you energy to keep going, and some confirm you are on the right path. Being selected by EDIH 2.0 Madrid for the second consecutive year as an AI-focused technology partner is, for us, both at once.
This year the project has a very specific focus: helping Madrid-based education companies have their own conversational agent, embedded directly in their website and accessible from their domain.
What does that mean in practice?
It means that when a parent or student visits an educational centre's website and has a question — about timetables, enrolment, or teaching methodology — they do not have to wait for someone to reply by email. An agent trained on that institution's real information answers immediately, in the brand's tone and with precision.
This is not a generic chatbot. It is not ChatGPT with a widget on top. It is narrow AI — built with LangChain — designed to know one client deeply: that specific educational centre.
Why narrow AI and not a general-purpose generative model?
Large language models are incredibly capable, but also incredibly general. A training centre does not need its agent to write poetry or solve differential equations; it needs it to explain when the next course starts, whether there are places left in the afternoon group and how to apply for a grant.
With LangChain we build reasoning chains that connect the language model to the client's real knowledge base: documents, FAQs, course catalogues, admission policies. The result is an agent that responds with real data, without hallucinating, without going off-topic.
Accessible from their own domain
One of the things the centres we work with value most is that the agent lives on their website, under their domain, with their visual identity. It is not a link to an external platform. It does not carry another company's logo. It is theirs.
That matters more than it might seem: it builds trust with the user, reinforces the brand and keeps every conversation within the centre's digital ecosystem.
A second year, the same conviction
The first time EDIH 2.0 selected us it was to explore how AI could improve the digital presence of Madrid SMEs in search engines and LLMs. This year we go one step further: from visibility to interaction.
We remain convinced that the most useful AI technology is not the most spectacular, but the one that solves a specific problem for a specific company without adding unnecessary complexity.
If you run an educational centre in Madrid and want to explore how your own conversational agent could improve the experience of your future students, get in touch. 🪐
